Recruitment within the Construction Industry
This is a huge, extremely buoyant industry. The Construction Industry generates
£93 Billion, contributes approximately 10% of the UK's GDP and consists
of nearly 350,000 firms. This is our market.
- With almost three decades in construction recruitment, Site Masters has a
strong reputation and a good heritage.
- We are always handling Live Vacancies as generally our Clients contact us
daily with new vacancies - we do very little cold calling.
- Site Masters presents it self essentially as a specialist construction subcontractor
and not a typical recruitment agency, there fore there is instant and genuine
empathy. There are very few idiosyncrasies or technical issues to learn, in fact,
Construction Recruitment matching is based mainly on personal judgment, rather
than defined skills.
- New Consultants work on 'hot desks with access to our whole database, resulting
in success within weeks, sometimes even days!
Major Earning Potential
- We're geared for Consultants to earn big money. Mediocre performers may not
gain the most from our remuneration package.
- Base salaries range from £16-35K, but no-one joins just for base salary.
- Commission is extremely generous - and we have no cap!
- We expect you to at least double your base salary. Our Top Performers are
earning £80K+
Career & Training
- We believe you should never stop learning and developing.
- New Consultants, regardless of experience, have to progress through a structured
Induction Program, covering all aspects of the Recruitment Process - but with
a completely unique approach, and a proven method of success.
- Thereafter, we have Mentoring and Internal Training, including 1:1 sessions
from an industry legend.
- In addition, we employ an External Training company to further enhance everyone's
skills.
- Our Career Path is open to everyone too, with our current Management growing
from within. It's a true meritocracy, so your ability is all we are interested
in.
- With our plans for growth we expect to need further Leaders in the near future.
Tools for the job
- What you need to succeed. As well as the right attitude, you'll succeed faster
and more efficiently with the right tools.
- We believe Consultants should spend all their time on core activities - therefore
we have very little forms or reports to complete, no bureaucracy and there is
almost no administration. We have an extremely efficient Support Team which deals
with all non-sales activities.
- Our I.T. systems are extremely sophisticated, allowing control of the whole
process, obviously tracking history, storing CVs and searching, email & internet
access, but also even prompting the right questions.
- Managers and Team Leaders are hands-on, not breathing down your neck, but
giving full support & guidance at every stage.
Fun
- After all, you've got to enjoy what you do!
- We take the job very seriously, but not ourselves.
- The team is very sociable - from drinks & pizza to company parties. The
last Friday in the month is dedicated to 'Celebration Day' from 2pm. This means
wine, beer & pizza as we acknowledge all the positive happenings of the month
and plan for the month ahead.
- Birthday OTC-Days (off to celebrate!!) - Birthdays are special days and if
you don't want to come into work on your birthday, that's fine with us, you can
take it off and it won't be taken off your holiday allowance.
